How big is it, really?
Type any square footage or acreage. See it drawn to scale with beds, parking spaces, courts and fields, or drop it on a map of your own street.
Drag to turn. The figure is a 5 ft 9 in person.
How it works
Type a number, pick a unit, and the drawing scales to match. Everything is drawn in real feet, so a king bed in the drawing is exactly as big, relative to the area, as a real one. The comparison switches automatically as the area grows: beds for rooms, parking spaces for garages, courts for lots and football fields for acreage. You can also pick one yourself.
The On a map tab draws the same shape on a real street map. Drag the dot to move it, rotate it to line up with a lot, or use your location to see it next to your own home.
Why a drawing beats a number
Most people cannot picture 43,560 square feet, but almost everyone can picture a football field. A number tells you how much; a shape next to things you know tells you how big. Shape matters too: a long, narrow 200 square foot room fits a car, and a square one does not. Change the width and length to test layouts.
